Database Developer

 

It is vitally important to backup your dream database.  You only need to backup the file called dsddv3.accdr because you can always download the 2007 Runtime Program from Microsoft if you need to reinstall it.

 

The easiest way to back it up is to:

 

1.  Right Click on the dsddv3.accdr file in your My Documents, Dream Database folder and choose "Copy"

 

2.  Navigate to your flash drive through My Computer.  Double click on your flash drive to open it.

 

3.  Right Click and select "Paste".  This will paste a copy of the database file onto your Flash Drive. 

 

Or, copy and paste it to your external hard drive if you have one.

 

If you know how to burn Data CD's or DVD's you can also backup the dsddv3.accdr file using that type of media.

 

Why put all that hard work and effort into recording your dreams to a database and then forget to back it up?
