How To Download and Install the Microsoft Access 2007 Runtime Program

Step 1

 

Go to the Micrsosoft Access 2007 Runtime webpage and click on the Download button.  

 

 

 

Step 2

 

Give the Download a few seconds to register and click on the Save File button.

 

 

 

Step 3

 

Point your save location to the Desktop, and click the Save button again.

 

 

 

Step 4

The program could take some time to download so be patient. 

 

When it's finished downloading locate the file called AccessRuntime.exe on your Desktop.  Close any other programs you've got open.  Double click it to install the program.

 

 

 

Go through the installation steps.

 

Step 5

 

When the Access 2007 Runtime program has been installed, double click the dsddv3.accdr file (where you saved it) to open and test the program.

 

 

 

Step 6

 

Follow these instructions for creating a shortcut from your Desktop.
