Printing Reports With The Dream Analysis Questions
Version 2 of Dream Sight Diary Database did not have all the new analysis questions, so we've built in a whole new range of reports in Version 3.
Printing A Single Dream
On the Dream Alchemy Tab is a Print This Dream button.
When you want to print a single dream with all the answers to the dream analysis questions, navigate back to the Dream Info Tab and check the Dream Id number. In this example it's 4. When you select Print from the Dream Info Tab or Print This Dream from the Alchemy Tab you will be prompted to enter the Dream Id number.
Reports are always displayed in Preview Mode before they print.
You can click on the Zoom button to see a closer view. Click the Print button when you are ready to Print.
Printing Other Reports With Analysis Questions
You can also Print various reports or Save them to Rich Text Format.
The first option is to print All Dreams.
You can also choose to print or save a report between two dates. When you select that option, you will be asked to enter the 'earliest date' and 'latest date'.
In addition, you can choose to print or save a report by Dream Category, you will be prompted to enter the category. Check the exact name of the category you want before you print, as you must type it exactly as it's described. For example, if you created a category called "My Career" you must type "My Career" without the inverted commas.
You can locate these reports on the Reports Tab.
Saving To RTF
RTF stands for Rich Text Format. RTF is a format used by most Word Processing programs, such as Microsoft Word, to allow you to create word processing files that can be read by any Word Processing program. You can save any of the above Reports to RTF, and then open the file in your Word Processor.
When you Save a report to RTF, you can accept the default report name as the file name, or change it. Just type over it if you want to change the file name. You can also point where you want to save the file, e.g. My Documents or Desktop.
If you want to edit your report, open your favorite Word Processing Program, and open the file you saved. You can now edit it and print it.
The following two screen shots demonstrate Saving To RTF. When you click on Save, you will be prompted which format to output the file to. Choose Rich Text Format (*.rtf).
